“For security reasons we ask you to keep all electronic devices turned off during take off and landing”, says the flight attendant before each take off.

The use of cell phones is not allowed during the entire time on board - why?

The reason is the potentially increased risk of interference with the board instruments caused by the electronic devices’ electromagnetic radiation.

We ask, does that not apply to a complex, sensitive biological system such as the human body as well?

The fact that most people do not directly feel anything does not mean that there are no biological impacts.

Naturally we follow the principle: "If I don’t feel anything I don’t have a problem”. But that may be a mistake. Every individual
who tries to make his/her daily life easier by using modern technology must be aware of the implications connected with that and handle it critically and, above all, consciously.

This also involves well-aimed precautions and active protection from e-smog by implementing our products.
